Moving and Unpacking

We moved last Sunday. So, I've been trying to get set up here at the apartment. Eli's been great. He's made the move great! Better than I could ask. I'm finally just about get everything unpacked and put up. We are trying to live on the bare essentials for the time being. When I get my batteries charged, I will take new pictures of the apartment put together. Enjoy.

Happy Birthday Pops!

Dad's birthday was last Friday. We made him dinner and celebrated Father's Day as well cause he was in Colorado. We also ate some yummy squash and zucchini from the garden that Tommy and Jennifer planted.

Kirkpatrick Yard Sale

David and Judy had a yard sale last weekend. It was perfect timing, seeing as how we moved last weekend. Eli had a great time.

Dad went to Colorado for a couple of weeks and he was cleaning the RV the other day and Eli and I came over. Eli had a blast!

Judy, Eli , and I went to Nashville the other weekend to go and visit with Amanda Prall. We had a great time. We got to stay with Jennifer and hang out for a day. We had a great time.

Happy Father's Day!

We took Jeremy to a Smokies Baseball game for Father's Day. The kids had a great time...despite the heat!

Towards the end of the game the kids were getting restless...so we took them to the back to run around. This is Luke dancing. Every time the music would stop he would burst into tears. It was really funny!

New Toy!

We got a new toy last week. It is a huge beach ball sprinkler. The kids have had a blast with it. It was only $10 at Target. I would highly recommend it!!!

Helping Momma Pack!

As I told ya'll in an earlier post, we sold our house and we close June 28th. So, I have been packing a little at a time and Eli just loves all the boxes and these pictures show how much help he is :) Also, Eli and I are on our way to Nashville with Matt's Mom Judy. My friend and I'm sure some of ya'lls friend as well, Amanda Prall is flying into Nashville and we are staying with Jennifer and then tomorrow we are all coming back. I can't wait to see Amanda. It's been a year since I've seen her. Well, ya'll have a great weekend...

Shopping

I finally remembered to snap a picture of what these to do while i grocery shop. Kaleb screams, "kubby drivin" and sophie squeels and waves as we make our way through the isles. I feel like i should pay them for this priveledge..Wait a minute..i do! Don't worry i take a lysol can with me to the store :)

Sippy cups, driving in the bed and more obsessions

Kaleb usually does not nap, but has "rest time". This is what i found when i opened the door this week! Doesn't he look rested?

Sophie has not been taking a sippie cup and is rapidly approaching "No Bottle" day. On Tuesday i prayed she would begin to take a sippie cup and by the next day she WAS!

Here she is just looking yucky! I had heard that girls were cleaner, but i can assure you this is NOT the case! She had noodles everywhere! Kaleb and i called her noodle head, he thought that was very funny...

Here she is up to more antics.... She has abandoned the golf ball and has become obsessed with kaleb's underwear. Clean, dirty, however, she grabs it and runs away. Here she is just after she stole some. Out of the laundry, off the bathroom floor while he potties, she just wants them!!! She also steals bandaids-right off the boo-b0o!

Smokey, Steph's house, & Judy's Birthday.

Well, we've had a pretty busy week here at the Kirkpatrick house. We've had to look at houses and get everything scheduled for our house. When you sell your house you have to have a house inspection, termite letter, septic letter, an appraisal done and I'm sure much more. As of right now, we have one house that we are looking at. It needs a lot of work, but it's got 1.24 acres in a nice neighborhood in Clinton. So, we are going out there with Dad tonight and a contractor and have him quote some things. Eli, we think, picked up a little sickness from church again. He's just been pretty fussy this week. I thought it was teeth, but I'm thinking (or Michelle said he might have) a little sore throat. Eli's getting so fast. He ran the other day. He loves to go up and down David and Judy's gravel driveway. I don't know what he will do when they get concrete poured.

I ordered this head cover for Matt's driver and when I opened it, I thought it was tacky and big, so I showed it to Matt and see what he thought and Eli loved it. Matt said we have to keep it, cause Eli liked it.

Steph watched Eli while I went to have a follow-up appointment for my shoulder. He makes this face all the time. Well, I think he was a little mad is this picture, but most of the time he makes this face when he gets excited.

When I got back I watched Kaleb and Sophie and Steph went to vote.
