I just now started Cal this morning on rice cereal. He has had it before in his bottle cause of his reflux, but never in a bowl. He did a great job and opened his mouth great! Eli and I really enjoyed feeding him. Cal is such a sweet little guy! Very thankful that we have him and Eli. God allowed us to have a miscarriage, so we could have Cal! We are very blessed!

Cal's 4 Month Check-Up

I took Cal July 28th for his 4 month check-up. Here are his stats...

16lbs 4 1/2oz: 80%

26 inches long: 80%

17inches head: 75%

He looked great. He is doing everything he is suppose to be doing at 4 months. They had to recheck his ears cause of a previous ear infection the week before and they looked good. He had two shots and one oral. He did great with his shots. He doesn't really cry on the first one, but does on the second :( But easily consolable.

Here are Eli's stats at 4 months. Cal is 2 inches longer! He is going to be a big boy!

Baby Cal is Here!! He was born at 6:25 pm. He weighed 7lb 4oz and was 19 1/2 in long. Both Mom and Baby are doing really well. I'll take some pics and post them later when I get home. Thanks for all your prayers.

I'm sitting here at the hospital with Jan. She just got another shot of epidural because she was feeling more pain. They just checked her and she's 9 cm. It's going to be soon!

We had Cal's baby shower a couple of weekends ago. It was a lot of fun! We got a lot of great things for him and we are READY to meet him! If you don't already know, his name is Matthew Calloway and we will call him Cal. Calloway was Matt's Great Grandpa's name. Thanks again for throwing me such a great shower!

I know I haven't posted pictures in forever, so I thought I would start by posting some from my phone. Matt bought me a new smartphone and I LOVE it and enjoy playing on it :) Sorry the pictures aren't in order...

Baby Kirkpatrick 3D pictures

I went in December to get an ultrasound and I asked when I could get some 3D pictures and she said she would do it then! I am hoping that wasn't the last night. I will probably ask next time I go, which is in a week! He weighed in at 1lb and 11 oz. Can't wait to see how much he has gained when I go back!

Oh, I can't wait to meet him! It only going to be about 10-11 more weeks! They will take him a week or two early due to my blood clotting disorder, so I will know a little closer to time when that will be! Mom is coming over next week to help me with the baby room and I can't wait.

New Baby is COMING!

Well, I think most of you know by now that I am pregnant! I am 20 weeks today! That means that I'm half way there! This 20 weeks have flown by super fast and I am praying the last 20 weeks do the same! I am so excited and can't wait to meet our little boy. We don't have a name yet, but have a few in the running. I go Monday for my "big" ultrasound as everyone calls it. They will measure all his parts and make sure everything is growing the way it should be. I will let everyone know how it goes after I get back from my appointment. Hopefully they will get a good picture of him.

Grandma's 95th Birthday!!!

Matt's Grandma turned 95 today! We went down and opened presents and ate some cake. She LOVED all of it! She is such a blessing from God! We love you Grandma! Happy birthday!

Crawfish Boil

Well, Matt got some things to do a crawfish boil. If you know me I DO NOT like seafood or fish, but Matt and Eli LOVE it! I mean LOVE it! Eli was so excited about getting to eat some "little lobsters" and called them his little buddies! He kept asking me if I wanted to touch the crawfish. He said "Mommy they won't hurt you!" LOL! Matt also got some mussels and shrimp to go with it. Matt did the cooking, cause I am not touching that stuff :)

Well, we made it to Hilton Head yesterday afternoon. The trip here was great! Eli did so well! So did Matt :) I left my camera cord at home so I can't show you guys any of our beach pictures. I am going to try to see if Matt can take him and get something today, so I can upload my pictures! It's killing me! Here are some pictures I took from my phone. Anyways, we went straight to the beach when we got here and Eli LOVED IT!!! I was shocked about how much he wanted to stay in the ocean! He kept telling Matt, "further Daddy further!" I realized how much I really don't like sand. LOL! Sand is all in my car and I don't like to sit in it. I am glad Matt and Michael are here! Anyways, we went to eat at The Crazy Crab last night and it was OK. They didn't really have anything for people who don't like seafood (which is me). Crazy Crab was in Harbor Town and it was BEAUTIFUL!

Eli on the car ride to Hilton Head. Grandma got him Shredder for his trip and he loved it and it came in handy!

Beautiful, right????? We pulled in last night to eat and this is what we saw!!!! Love it here.

This is a last minute addition. Matt thought this was a really cute picture, so I added it.

Today Eli and I went to Norris Dam to have a picnic and to play on the playground. We have had such a crazy few days, I thought it would be good to get out and have a great time! Norris is a beautiful place! I'm very thankful that we live so close to it to enjoy God's beauty.

Abigail's 6th Birthday Party!!!

This year Abigail wanted a Princess party! Well, I guess last year. Her birthday was in December. I was so excited to go! I have never been to a princess party before :) The girls all wore their princess dresses and had a great time. Here are some of the pictures I took. I took a lot and it was hard to just choose theses!

Baby Audrey Update!

Well, Steph is nearing the end! She went to the doctor Wednesday and she is still 4cm dilated and she's thinning out and Audrey's head is WAY low! So, they have an induction set for Jan 19th, but she thinks she will go before that and I do too! She would prefer not to be induced. This is her second week at 4cm dilation. So, needless to say, SHE IS READY for Audrey Ann to be here and so are we!

About 2 months ago Eli fell and hit his face/mouth on the edge of the window in our living room. Oh it was bad and the saddest and scariest thing I've been through as a Mom. I know there will be more things like this, but I pray there won't be!

Matt took a day off work the week after he fell and we took him to the mountains and to the aquarium in Gatlinburg. We had a great time. Sorry the pictures are out of order!

We stayed here for about 30 mins while he kept touching the sting rays (I think they are called that).

I love this picture. Poor thing. Everyone was looking at him.

We stopped on the side of the road and got out and saw some snow.

Eli wanted to go to Ihop for breakfast/lunch, so we did. I'm not a huge fan of Ihop, but Eli's breakfast was fun to look at!

Last Thursday night Steph and I took the kids to Boo at the Zoo. Dad was going to go with us, but he got sick, so we decided to still go cause we had told the kids we were going. Dad, Michelle & Jeremy and the kids went the Sunday before last and we couldn't.

We had a great time. They loved it. Kaleb and Eli dressed up as cowboys (we didn't have their other costumes ready) and Sophie went as a princess.

Trunk or Treating

We go every year to First Baptist in Clinton for their trunk or treating with Matt's Mom and Dad. This year it took about 5 mins to go to all the cars and get candy. They also had a rock wall you could climb up. So, of course Eli wanted to do it. I didn't think he would once she started pulling him up, but he loved it and didn't want to come down.

Matt took off yesterday and we went to the mountains and then on our way back we went to the aquarium. We had a great time!

For those of you who don't know... Eli had a pretty big fall Friday afternoon and we made a little trip to the ER. He is fine! He just looks like someone beat him up with a bat! Poor little guy! There were A LOT of people looking at him and us all day!

We have really been slacking on the blog! Sorry! We went to Dad's a few weeks ago when he got back from Colorado cause he had a super treat for the kids! He got them all cowboy and cowgirl outfits! They LOVED them! He got them shirts, pants, and boots. So, we got them changed and we to the pumpkin patch to take some pictures.

Eli always tells me and others that he doesn't have friends, he has cousins! So cute! But I think that has changed. His buddy Josiah from church is his best bud! He talks about him all the time and loves to play with him. He loves to go to Dollywood with Josiah and his mom Emily. So, when DJ and Emily asked us to watch Josiah last Sunday so they could go on a date night we were excited!!! We had the best time and we want to do it again real soon. Rough week...

We have had a pretty rough 1 1/2 weeks. Our Grandpa passed away last Thursday. Our Dad's dad. Then last Monday our Great Grandma passed away. She was our Poppy's Mom. So, after we went to our Grandpa's funeral and burial on Monday and Tuesday we drove Wednesday to West Virginia. While we were there we able to visit the New River Gorge Bridge (I think that was the name). It was absolutely beautiful.

Driving Range

Matt had a golf tournament a couple of weeks ago and needed to go to the driving range. So, he asked if Eli and I wanted to go. We got Eli's putter and golf ball and headed out. We will probably never go again cause poor Matt couldn't concentrate. Now we know :)

It has been a long time since I've posted anything!!! My Aunt Pam let me know that last night :) Thanks Pam. Eli is so cute these days. He's really sweet and loves to play and learn. He is such a fast learner! He is in to riding his bike. We just got bikes for us (Matt and Jan) and we went on our first bike ride last Tuesday. It was fun.

Eli and his computer. Matt and I got him a little computer for his birthday. There are a couple of nights Eli and I will sit on the couch and use our laptops together :)

Eli also got a couple of games for his birthday. He LOVES the fishing game. Aunt Stephanie, Uncle Clifton, Kaleb, and Sophie got him that.

We had an Easter egg hunt yesterday at Matt's Mom and Dad's house. Eli had a BLAST! After the first couple of hunts he started hiding the eggs himself. Probably 15 more times :)

Matt and I had fondue last Friday night as part of our Valentine's celebration. So, Saturday night we heated up the choc again and we let Eli enjoy it. He LOVED it.

Valentine's Day Early.

Well, Matt gets points for selling generators and so we get to spend the points at a lot of places and thankfully 1-800-flowers was on there and I also got him a lobster gram. I made the lobster (well, Matt did cause I didn't want to touch it!), fillet, new england clam chowder, and lava cake last night. Eli ate everything!!! He LOVED the lobster! I'm so glad he loves it. I can't stand anything seafood. Yuck! Anyways, here are some pictures of Matt and Eli's Valentine's Night together :) Enjoy...

Eli ate almost all of this. I put ice cream and whipped cream on it and he ate pretty much all of it. I put whipped cream on there for Matt and he took Matt's bite off his spoon!!!!! Seriously! He did this a couple of times. Oh yeah, notice he would smile at me cause he was enjoying the cake a little too much :)

After the last snow man got kicked over by hooligans, i decided to build this one deep in the back yard. Thunkin helped and we also built a snow dog ( for thunkin) and a snow baby ( for sophie) Jan, i have to say, Eli's stick hair is pretty good, but we are staying true to the classic "snowman" look.

I made fried potatoes tonight and Eli got a chair and got up and kept eating out of the pan.

The pan was cool and the eye wasn't on!
