Steph's shower and Abigail with the puppys

Ok, so you're wondering why there aren't more pictures of Steph's shower...
that's because I didn't take anymore. It's hard to remember to take pictures and
take care of your kid. Sorry Steph!!!

Our Yard...

This is our yard. We decided to landscape it ourselves. We are selling our
house and thought we might need to make it look alittle nicer.
We are still working on it.

Playtime

Here are a few pictures of Eli playing on his Baby
Einstein playmat. He likes it I promise. He doesn't
act like it in the pictures, but he does. :)

Michelle , Wife and Mother Extraordinaire...

Ode to Michelle!

Michelle is the embodiment of a Titus 2 woman!

"...and so train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self controlled, pure, working at home, kind and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled" Titus 2: 4-5

She takes exellent care of her family ! She is constantly thinking of ways to help Jeremy more or be a better mom. She works at home! Abigail is even starting to work at home after watching michelle. She loves jeremy, abigail and luke and builds her life around taking care of them. When i grow up I want to be just like Michelle.

And doesn't that picture reveal the true nature of motherhood? Everything seems fine and you are having fun, but in the distance a problem is lurking.....

Nanny and Poppy's...

Kaleb and Abigail love to water
Nanny's flowers on her deck.

You'll always see a broom near Kaleb.

Like Mother Like Daughter!

You'll never believe what just happened... Abigail came in the kitchen and asked me for a wet wipe so that she could clean the TV. She said that it was "very dirty." I gave her a windex wipe and told her to get busy! I could really get used to this!

I guess I was asking a little too much to have her sweep the floor!

A Couple Days in The Life of Kaleb...

Thursday morning, Kaleb woke up saying " More duck" . In two to three minutes the sum total of all of his stuffed animals was in his bed with him. He squeeled with delight and kept diving under the pile and hiding. It was only the sweet promise of a "manana" that lured him out of this...

Friday, Kaleb spent a significant amount of the day just reading in Sophie's unfinished room. The notecard on the table to the right kept his attention for half an hour

On Saturday morning, we awoke to a suprise at our front door. Tommy and Jennifer brought their new little puppy to play with Kaleb. He loved it!

Kaleb had a good week! Even though i was suprised by the fun things that happened, God was not.

" For I know the plansI have for you, declares the Lord, plans for wholeness and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you.. You will seek me and find me. When you seek me with all your heart, I will be found by you ...." Jeremiah 29:11-13 a

Somewhere in the middle of runny noses and sweet memories, our real goal of parenting ...the salvation of our children takes place... All of it ordained before any of us were born!
"To whom will you compare me, that i should be like him? says the Holy One". Isaiah 44: 25

Only God is GOD and is capable of this! No plan of His can be thwarted, they all come to pass, exactly as he desires... That is fuel for fervent prayers...

These are the girls in my care group. Well, Esther
goes to the Sanders' ( Jeremy) care group, but
they were sick, so she came to ours. Michelle, we
are going to take her from you. We like her that much!

This is Molly. Tommy and Jennifer's new little
puppy. She is 10 weeks old. She's adorable!

Happy Birthday Luke!

Luke turned 2 months yesterday! Today I took him for his 2 month check up. He was 13 lbs and 22 inches long. According to the doctor "he has chunked up!" He got three shots in the thigh. Things are very different with your second child. When Abigail got her first set of shots, I didn't know what to expect. I prayed for her several days in advance and while she was getting the shots, I cried more than she did. This time around, I was too busy trying to keep Abigail from climbing into the sink and before I knew it Luke's shots were over! Abigail also had to get a Hep A shot (which I wasn't prepared for). So during her shot I was breastfeeding Luke and trying to hold her down on the table at the same time. We had quite an adventure!

More Pictures from Dad's House

The Boys playing a little
B-Ball. Good shot Jeremy!

Uncle Jeremy trying to teach Kaleb
all he knows. That's right,
Jeremy played High School basketball.

Pay close attention to
his feet :) Too cute!

Abigail always smilin'
it up for the camera.

Dad took Abigail and Kaleb
on a "Mule" ride. It's called a
Gator, but I'm not sure why
dad calls it a Mule. Why dad?

Dad's House

Uncle Tommy & Luke...
ahhhh!

Dad & Eli by the pool.

Eli & Matt or is it Matt & Eli?
He does look like Matt... As Michelle
said eariler, I've given up hope.

Kaleb's taking a ride on Clifton's
shoulders. Woohoo!

Abigail's getting a lot better.

Uncle Matt taught Abigail how
to use our digital camera last
night.

Ok, I took this one... I tried to
pull that one off, but Abigail is
in the picture (oh MAN!).
Looks like I need lessons from
Abigail!

This is what happens when...

I ask Matt to watch Eli while I get ready. :)

It is a miracle...

After earnest prayer, extensive study, perseverance through harsh comments, and a hand full of semi sweet chocolate chips, i have actually learned to blog. Poor Kaleb even grew weary...

It reminds me of a scripture I have been endeavoring to commit to memory:

"God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work" 2nd Corinthians 9:8

If God has given me grace to steer through the tangled web that is current technology, He will give me abounding grace for TWO children :)

For those of you who don't know what a fly-in is, it's where a bunch of
planes from around here "fly in" to grandpa's hanger on his farm
and eat some yummy food and just hang out and then get in their
planes and fly home. Here are some pictures for ya'll to enjoy.
