Our First Doctors Visit

Well, yesterday was our first doctors visit together. Everything was great. He has gained an ounce, which means he's back up to 7 lbs now. I go back in a month to his next appointment.

We're home

Hello everyone. Matt and I are finally home from the hospital! It's been a long 3 days in there. Eli now weighs 6lbs 15ozs. He is doing great. Matt let me sleep about 5 hours tonight and now Matt is getting a little cat nap in as we speak. Eli is doing great. We go to the doctor on Tuesday and we will let everyone know what the doctor says. We can't wait to show him off to everyone!

Well, thanks to that lovely post by Luke, I think Matt is ready to be a dad! It's 12:33am and of course I'm up. As of yesterday I was 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced. So, I'm ready to go. We will be induced in about 6 hours from now at ParkWest. Yes, ParkWest ( sorry, that silly commerical always sticks in my head when I say ParkWest). So, sometime tomorrow we will post some pictures of Eli. Keep checking back. Next time we see you guys we will have a little baby. WOOHOO! Catch ya on the flip flop.

ARE YOU READY UNCLE MATT?

Tomorrow's the big day for uncle Matt and aunt Jan. My cousin Eli is finally going to be here. I have been up every 2-3 hours since I was born awaiting his arrival! I just can't sleep! This is a picture of uncle Matt when he first held me. I've told him that he needs to work on his face when he meets Eli for the first time!!!

LUKE'S BIG WEIGH IN

I took Luke to the doctor today to have his weight checked. I've told him all week that today was the day and that he better start packin on the pounds. He weighed in at a big 8 lb 3 oz. That is a total weight gain of 8 oz in 4 days!! Way to go big guy!!

i'm getting induced april 20th

well, i went to the doctor today and eli weighs around 7lbs and he looks great. we talked to dr. d and we asked him about inducing so we could have him deliver and he said next thursday he could. he will check me next wednesday and see if i've progressed any and if i have we will induce on the 20th at 6:30am @ parkwest. but he won't induce if he thinks i'm not ready. he told us today he thinks i'm about 1-2 cm already just by looking at me. he hasn't checked me though. he must be magic! we are excited and ready to meet eli. if we get to have him on thursday then he will be born on the 20th and matt's born on the 21st and i'm born on the 22nd, so super easy to remember. not all in april of course! anyhoo, check back and we will keep you guys informed.

Luke Stephen Sanders was born at 9:04 pm. He was 8 lbs 1 oz and 20 inches long! he looks a lot like abigail, but he looks different. he is so cute! or handsome i should say! michelle's doing great and she looks absolutely like nothing happened. amazing! we should have pictures real soon.

ok... michelle's getting induced at 5pm today (friday, april 7th)! luke's coming!!! it's about time. i'll try to get one more pregnant picture of michelle up here before her lovely belly is GONE! woohoo... i'm so excited!
