With God ALL things are possible!!!

Clifton is out of town this week, so i thought we were in trouble when Kaleb wanted to build with lincoln logs. But, i actually figured it out. We followed " the map" as kaleb calls it and we built it together. Kaleb said he wanted daddy to see it, so here it is Honey:) We love you. Come home and add some masonry work to the outside. The logs are a little too "pioneer" for me. Kaleb would like to add " Pam Pam, snip snip, crush...." Heartfelt, i know., But, that is what he said, while holding a butter knife and tapping it onto everything on the counter.

It's hot out there. Look at those red cheeks.

More July Happenings

Sophie went for her 2 year check up and she was 90% for height and 50% for weight. She is going to be tall. We started potty training her in May and she is still not complying, so to motivate her we told her she could get a big girl bed. She was very excited and did very well until the chart was complete. Then, she promptly stopped and began to cry when i took her and to have lots of accidents. The steadfast love of the lord NEVER ceases..So i can be patient with her as she learns to obey us. This week she is actually doing much better. She was so happy to get her bed. ( or should i say to stand there while Clifton took one side off---amazing what you can make exciting by facial exressions and clapping!)
Kaleb is still in his cowboy phase. Aunt Jan bought him this Target hat and he wears it all the time. He also has boots a rope, scarf ( for dust storms) and an imaginary horse named Lightning. Sophie also has a hat and an imaginary horse, kaleb named Thunder :) Speaking of potty training, the other day we were in a public restroom and kaleb said, " What is that mommy?" he was pointing to the the changing table on the wall ( they are cream and many have a koala bear on them) I told him it was to change babies. To which he promptly replied, " into koalas!!!" He is funny.

They are still playing well and enjoying each other. They were actually sitting on their own, but check out the fake smiles :) Today they played, birthday party ( it was Winnie the poohs party- Sophie just came for the cake she did not even bring a gift) , leggos ( Kaleb built mac and lightning mcqueen and Sophie made a tower and a birthday cake)... Then they went outside and played in the dirt and it was time for Sesame street.

Anderson County Fair 2008!

First Annual Anderson County Fair Rodeo!
Well, we went to the fair last night with Dad, Ashley, Jeremy, Abigail, Luke, and Michael. Yes, they had a rodeo and I was so excited.

There are the bulls. We didn't watch the bull riding. The kids wanted to ride rides!

The guy was off from the beginning.

There he is falling off the horse.

I think his hand was stuck.

The horse actually dragged him around the arena.

He actually made it! I was a little nervous for the guy.

Here's another cowboy riding.

Eli climbing up the rocky hill. Luke kept running down it. I wouldn't let Eli cause I knew we would be at the ER all night!

The Air Force Guys!

Abigail in the plane and the air force guy.

Eli in the plane.

Luke was sitting in it backwards. Wrong way buddy.

The Fair Rides...

Matt and Jeremy just watching the kids ride. Love the backpacks boys!

Luke and Eli riding in the boats.

Jeremy and Abigail in the twisty, twirly things. He was the only one that would ride with her.

That's how he felt when it was over!

Here they are riding the dragon ride. Here is Ashley and Abigail.

Eli and I. This is such a bad picture of me, but Matt took some good ones and I love this one of Eli.

Dad and Luke. Poor Luke hide the whole time! Too funny!

Michael and Eli sliding.

Up close... Look at Eli's face.

Luke riding the fire truck.
