Eating Sushi...

I made sushi last night and I was eating some for lunch and Eli wanted to try some, so I let him and he loved it. It just has cucumbers and chicken. I usually make some with avocado and crab for Matt but I didn't this time. He doesn't look like he was enjoying it too much in the pictures, but he was watching a show.

That's paint on his thumb. He got into a roller at the new house today and I forgot to clean it. Oops!

Thanks David and Judy! Matt went and got him and came by before they went home. He wanted help paint! We let him, but soon decided it wasn't smart of us :)

New Front Door and Ricky and Lucy

Here is our new front door. The old one is to the right. I've only painted it one coat of black paint so far. About 3 to go and maybe more.

Lucy and Ricky.

Eli and I went bike riding the other morning. He loves it. I had to make the poor little guy get out. I couldn't pull it anymore :)

Lucy just hanging out on the dog house.

Zoo Trip!

Yesterday Michelle, Steph, Emilee and I went to the Zoo. We had a great time. Here are some pictures to show you just how much fun we had.
Abigail wanted me to take her picture.

Again, she wanted me to take her picture!

Trying to climb over. That elephant should be scared!

Another shot of Abigail... She always wanted me to take her picture :)

Eli and Luke taken a look at the zebras.

Kaleb and Sophie just showed up. They were excited to see them. I guess Eli was REALLY excited!

Luke, Eli, and Anna Kate.

Anna Kate. Doesn't she have such pretty hair? She's so cute!

Riding in the jeep. Always a favorite.

Running away from us!

Snack time.

Abigail running off with Kaleb and maybe Sophie :)

At one time they were ALL laying down!

Them running away. Notice Stephanie in the background...

Climbing the rocks... not such a good idea!

We went and saw the butterflies. They loved it.

I love this picture!

Striped Outfit

This is the beloved "striped outfit" He has completely worn it out and would wear it all the time if we would let him.... I tried to put it up, but i was met with tears upon tears. So inevitably, holes have begun to appear. A real treat is wearing it during his rest time, but he cannot wear it to sleep. Too hot! He gets so excited when he wears it and can finally put it on all by myself. It is quite a production. I was beginning to get concerned that footed pajamas would not be available but our pigeon forge shopping trip was fruitful and i found him 2 more pair in 4 Toddler. Whew! What a character :)

Making Brownies with Aunt Jennifer

The other night Jennifer came over and she brought brownies to make for the boys. She let Eli help and he actually did a great job. He didn't even stick his finger in the brownie mix (well, I don't think he did).

Crazy Cousins or ( alternate title, sinfest 2008)

Aunt Chelle, Abigail and Luker came over on the big birthday as well.... We were supposed to have a stuffed animal birthday party. But, we never actually got to it. Lots of noise, disciplines and fun. Abigail baked a special pretend pie for Thunkin ( strawberry) She told kaleb about it and through her tears she told me that he said Thunkin only ate dogfood. Sophie also told Luker that he could not get on her big girl bed ( very emphatically) and while cleaning up kaleb reminded abigail that she could not take anything home :) So much to do, so little time! Thankful that my hope is in God to change their hearts. ( and mine) Thank you for the pie Abigail, i am sure Thunkin's mouth is watering now. He usually does eat dog food, but i am sure he will make an exception for your pie...

Happy Birthday to Mommy...

Today( day after my birthday) we went outside and made what i thought would be a mud pie or a mud castle...so many possibilities. Instead, after we pulled the bucket off, Kaleb stuck a stick in the center of it and Sophie exclaimed, " Happy Birthday mommy ! " They made me a mud birthday cake. I gave them some sprinkles and the rest is history. This picture is classic Kaleb and Sophie, she is singing and being silly while kaleb tries to figure out exactly how the lid works. Later Sophie started eating it and it was downhill from there... Muddy bathtub, pile of dirty clothes...Wanted to capture the whole moment :) Kaleb also decorated the oven with balloons ( very very safe) and sophie sang Happy birthday (very, very softly. )
