Memorial Day and Our House...

Yesterday we went to Dad's and we also went to David and Judy's house (I didn't have my camera with me there). David made homemade Butterfinger ice cream! Eli and everyone else loved it! Thanks again David and Judy! Eli went swimming for the first time yesterday. He didn't much care for it. I couldn't get in with him, so Steph did. He did OK, but was a little timid. I'll keep trying. Kaleb on the other hand, LOVED the water and did great. Ashley use to teach swimming at the Red Cross for 2 year olds, so she worked with Kaleb yesterday and I think he really liked it. Sophie wasn't sure about the water at first, but when she got in the float she loved it and just played. Matt and Clifton came later after playing golf and Tommy, Jennifer, Daniel, and Elizabeth also came over later. It was a fun time. Thanks Dad, Ashley, and Stephanie for fixing dinner! It was yumm-o...
We miss Jeremy, Michelle, Abigail, and Luke. They are at the beach this week! Michelle said that Abigail and Luke love it! Can't wait to hear all about it when they get back!
Here are the little things that Pop's had for them to wear in the water. They looked so cute in them.

There my little boy "high stepping." So cute :)

Ashley helping Kaleb learn to swim.

Stephanie trying to get Eli to like the water. It wasn't working too well...

The day finally came... We got an offer on our house, but they came in about $16,000 below what we were asking for it. So, we countered back. I guess we will see if they come up. If not, we will stay. We already have the house below what we really would like it. The Lord answered our prayers and we are THANKFUL!

Sophie's 10 month pictures

These are some of my favorites

I was just changing her diaper in this one

She is holding the lamb that kaleb got her when she was born.

As of Friday evening, she is officially "walking" (Walking more than she crawls) She stayed awake until 10:30 pm practicing! She races across the floor and especially likes to walk from person to person. On Saturday, she held my hand and we walked to her room to go to bed. Very grown up!

Tommy's 24th Birthday!

Well, Tommy turned 24 yesterday (Monday the 21st). We had a little party for him at Dad's house on Sunday night. Tommy and Jennifer also celebrated their one year wedding anniversary! I can't believe it's been a year already! Congrats!

Catch up time!

Well, these past two weeks have been crazy around here. Poor little Eli had the croup again and then got an ear infection. He's much better now though. He's walking great now. He kind of runs a little as well. He knows everything I say I think. Yesterday I told him to go to his room, so I could change his diaper and he went straight to his room. It's so helpful that he can walk. I've got rotator cuff tendinitis and I couldn't rest it, cause he was heavy and he couldn't walk, so hopefully this will help me. I start physical therapy today, so I'm excited about that. He loves trees and trucks and crackers. He's gotten so much fun to play with now (He was always fun to play with, but he's gets more excited). He finally drinks whole milk by itself and not with formula. He's officially off of bottles now. I'm thankful that he's always been so easy to get off things.

We went and watered the flowers last night and Eli loved the water, so we let him play in it a bit. He really liked it.

We went to feed the ducks the other night. I think this is Eli's favorite thing to do now. He loves ducks! And he really likes it when Da da is there with him!

Check out that look he is giving Matt...

Last night we tried to let Eli feed himself. HE loved to try, but isn't that great yet.

He was so excited to try. Can you tell???

Just cheesing it up for the camera!

We had some visitors in our grill for a little bit. I noticed two black birds always on the deck and by the grill. Then one day I looked and the birds were coming out of the grill. I told Matt and he opened up the grill and we found this...

Eli and I went and fed the ducks last week for the first time. This was before the trip with da da.

Matt was mowing the other day and I let Eli run wild! I thought this was a neat picture. I love it!

Eli does this thing with his tongue all the time. He sticks it out and goes "BLAH."

Bathtime and "Bigboy "bed!

We had a little fun the other night in the bathtub. Check out the height on Sophie's dew

Kaleb really likes his sister. Look at the "shock" on her face.

Nanna brought over Kubby's big boy bed last night and they "fixed" it on the front porch. Kaleb is not a very good laborer he kept taking the materials away but he did like the screws and kept trying to put them in any hole he could find.

Kaleb was very excited! He slept just great and when he woke up this morning he said,"Kubby opened his eyes in his big bed"

Abigail's Ballet Recital

Here are a few pics from Abigail's recital last week...courtesy of Sam. Thanks again to all the family for taking time off work to come see Abigail dance. She was so excited that everyone was there. She was sad that Pops and Aunt Jan had to miss it, but she is glad that you are feeling better! She hopes you like your cards and sprite! A special thanks to Grandma and Kubby for her flowers and Aunt Jan for her book.

Abigail and Ally

This is Abigail when she was supposed to be dancing her routine! She was a little distracted by the crowd!

Family pictures

Thanks Sam for taking the pictures!

Playing outside, playing inside, and playing in the car.

Eli and I have been playing a lot outside lately. It's been so pretty. He's just getting over the croup again! He's teething as well and I pray that he gets all his teeth in that he is supposed to get in soon! He's got 14 or so now.
Here he is at Matt's old house. I park at their old house and walk and Eli just loves the tree. It's a big tree that they all used to climb.

He's probably looking at a bird or the big, huge rain cloud that came about 2 seconds after I took this picture.

Since he's been sick, he's been really sweet and clingy. I just stuck him in the chair and gave him his animals and he just loved it.

HIGH STEPPING! He's walks a little funny. He picks his feet way up when he walks. Reminds he of the marching bands.

He doesn't understand that he can't walk up hills yet. He kept trying and he just kept falling backwards.

I took some pictures of him the other day in the car. He was trying to put my sunglasses on.

Asleep in the car. He always sleeps with the blanket in his mouth.

Just smiling at ma ma. Oh, by the way, he started started saying ma ma the other day. I was wondering when it would be. It's so sweet :)

I snapped a picture of him sleeping the other week. He likes to sleep on his tummy with his bottom in the air.

I went outside to water my flowers the other day and he wouldn't come over the door, so I took a picture.
