Eli's first attempt at rice cereal
Today I gave Eli Rice Cereal for the first time. He didn't much like it or maybe he just didn't know what to do with it. He didn't swallow it and then when he started crying it just fell out. We will try again tomorrow. Abigail and Kaleb didn't do too well with Rice cereal, so we will see ifEli's tummy can handle it.

Eli's 4 Month Check-up
OK, I was taking a picture of him earlier to put on the blog and
I acted like I was sneezing and he LOST it! This is the picture to
prove it.
I thought this was such a sweet picture of him.
Eli had his 4 month doctor's visit today. The doc said he looked great and everything was fine. He told me to start him on rice ceral and see how that went. He weighed in at 15lbs 12oz. He was 24inches long. He got his second round of shots and he screamed as usual.

Luke's 4 month check-up
Luke survived his 4 month check-up...shots and all! He weighed in at 16 lbs 2 oz (that is exactly double his birth weight) and 24 3/4 inches long. He is doing much better since I have stopped eating dairy. The doc wants me to lay off the dairy for another month and then he said I can slowly start reintroducing it. I am already trying to decide what I am going to eat first...cheese pizza or ice cream? He probably said "slowly" for a reason!
