Week of sickness
Kaleb and sophie have both been sick the past week. Kaleb had the flu and then got a secondary infection, so he was very ill. Sophie has a cold and then she got an ear infection.
Here they are playing together in the exersaucer. They never play with a toy the way it is intended. They take turns crawling through the bottom as well. They also turn it on its side and play "steering wheel" Kaleb has quite an imagination and sophie just wants to do whatever he is doing. We are very glad they are feeling better. Kaleb was so sick he did not even notice sophie was around ,so as he got better it was like a reunion! They smiled and smiled at each other. Very sweet!
I was giving kaleb a bath and sophie decided she would climb in fully clothed. She is WILD!
Here she is putting her head through the leg holes on the exersaucer. SHE IS WILD!
This week while Kaleb has been so ill, Sophie has taken the opportunity to really get moving. She began taking some steps the week before she turned 9 months old. She LOVES the walker and races across the floor at lightning speed. Kaleb says, "Sophie mowing grass!" She squeals with delight until she reaches an obstacle and then she squeals with disapproval until we turn her around. She is so cute! She has also begun standing on her own and waving. She waves and waves. I think she did the sign language for milk yesterday. (She has been doing "all done" for about a month , i think) She is all smiles all the time and things are about to change at our house!
Thank you so much for the meals and groceries that all of you helped with! Thank you thank you thank you! I will not have to cook all week and that will give me a chance to catch up on housework as I get to feeling better. thank you thank you thank you.

I'm so sorry your little man was so sick. Thank the Lord he is feeling better! Now, we can get the boys together!!
Hey Stephanie!
You should have made your caption say "WEAK" of sickness. Sounds like you guys were struggling. I am so glad you all are doing better. What kind of secondary infection did Kaleb get?
They think he picked up the croup, which turned to bronchitis. He also had the stomach bug. He was VERY sick. And don't forget the flu! His fever soared to 105, 106 nightly. With baths and medication the lowest it would go was 104. They said this was normal with the flu, but as it continued it became clear that something else was going on.
