Sophie turned 2 on July 5th and had a "pink and purple" party. To get her excited for her birthday, i asked her what she wanted. She replied, ( after much thought- she gets that from clifton) Cake." Then, she added, " big cake....big pink cake....Big pink and purple cake"... Mom made her a beautiful pink and purple cake and she loved it. She snatched the top part off and then tried to take more. She even tried to blow out the candles.
Sophie is very fun these days. She is quirky ( like clifton) She put on all her birthday presents as she received them. She loves all things girly. ( not like clifton)
Here she is in action. She has 2 purses, a backpack and she is riding her scooter. Kaleb got her a princess crown. It came complete with earrings, really tasteless necklace and a bracelet. He wants her to wear it all the time and when she does, he says " now you are a princess or you are beautiful" Very sweet.
Here we are on her birthday. Look how happy sophie is. Kaleb was also very happy it was her birthday. I tried to explain to him that the 4th of July was our nation's birthday , but he just kept telling me " no, it is sophie's birthday". Michelle said that in his class at church, he also kept saying, " it is my baby sister's birthday" He loves her.
We started the day with chocolate chip pancakes ( bc sophie loves to eat- also like clifton) We ended the day with clifton reading them their bedtime story in her new princess tent. The greatest part of her princess tent is that i can actually put it together.So grateful to God for sophie! Cannot believe that she is two. I have to admit that i cried when I put her to bed that night :)

Looks like you guys had a lot of fun! Sophie looks like she is a hoot. She is adorable. =)
