Sophie went for her 2 year check up and she was 90% for height and 50% for weight. She is going to be tall. We started potty training her in May and she is still not complying, so to motivate her we told her she could get a big girl bed. She was very excited and did very well until the chart was complete. Then, she promptly stopped and began to cry when i took her and to have lots of accidents. The steadfast love of the lord NEVER ceases..So i can be patient with her as she learns to obey us. This week she is actually doing much better. She was so happy to get her bed. ( or should i say to stand there while Clifton took one side off---amazing what you can make exciting by facial exressions and clapping!)
Kaleb is still in his cowboy phase. Aunt Jan bought him this Target hat and he wears it all the time. He also has boots a rope, scarf ( for dust storms) and an imaginary horse named Lightning. Sophie also has a hat and an imaginary horse, kaleb named Thunder :) Speaking of potty training, the other day we were in a public restroom and kaleb said, " What is that mommy?" he was pointing to the the changing table on the wall ( they are cream and many have a koala bear on them) I told him it was to change babies. To which he promptly replied, " into koalas!!!" He is funny.
They are still playing well and enjoying each other. They were actually sitting on their own, but check out the fake smiles :) Today they played, birthday party ( it was Winnie the poohs party- Sophie just came for the cake she did not even bring a gift) , leggos ( Kaleb built mac and lightning mcqueen and Sophie made a tower and a birthday cake)... Then they went outside and played in the dirt and it was time for Sesame street.
