Week 6: God's Holiness
6:1 In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train [1] of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above him stood the seraphim. Each had six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. 3 And one called to another and said:
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts;
the whole earth is full of his glory!” [2]
4 And the foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke. 5 And I said: “Woe is me! For I am lost; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!”

Our First Little Vacation to Nashville
Matt had a convention in Nashville on Thursday, so we loaded up the car and took off on Wednesday. We stayed with Matt's sister Jennifer. We had a great time. This is the only picture I got of them, but she's got some and when I get them I'll post them as well. Jennifer's condo is super trendy and neat. She's got her paintings everywhere! She played with Eli every free minute she had. She even got dinner ready with him one night. She's super talented. I'm sure Eli will miss her. He talked with her all the time. Thanks again Jennifer for letting us stay with you. (Also, sorry for the screaming in the middle of the night :)
This picture is funny... " What DAD!"

Pictures from the move
Well, you never know what Abigail will do next. She took Michelle purple cleaning gloves and put them on her foot. Eventually, she had both on her feet.
This is the boys moving up that HUGE armoire. Matt Carr, Matt K., Tommy, Jayson, & Clifton helped them move. What troopers. It was really cold last night. You guys rock!
This is Michelle, Frances, & Jennifer making their bed. Frances watched Abigail and Luke ALL day so, Michelle could go to closing and help Jennifer paint Luke's room. Also, I want to wish Frances a late HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Happy Birthday Frances!
The BIG move!

Our Fishing Adventure
Last Saturday we loaded up the gator and went fishin' at Grandpa's! This was Abigail's first time to fish.
After her first catch, she went on to catch two more fish. Here is a picture of her with Pops and her second catfish. She also caught a blue gill. All the while, Luke was asleep in the gator!
Disclaimer: No fish were harmed, injured or eaten during the making of these pictures!

Happy Birthday Buddy!
Eli turned 6 months today. His Aunt Jennifer (Matt's sister, not Tommy's wife) came in from Nashville. She brought him a present (see below). It is the cutest thing ever. A monogram jumper/overalls. I about lost it, it was so cute. Just wait till you see it in person. I'm going to have to go get his pictures made again. Thanks Jennifer. You are the best aunt on the Kirkpatrick side!!! :)
I just took this picture before he went to bed tonight. He went to bed at 10:35pm. My sweet little boy.
Eli's 6 month check-up
Eli had his 6 month check up today. The doc said he looked great. He weighed in at 17lbs 9oz and was 26 3/4 inches long. We finally beat Luke! He told me that his other tooth was about to break through and that he would get about one a month. Let the fun times begin! He did great with his shots. He cried when he got them, but nothing after. Usually he cries a while. He was laughing. I prayed all day yesterday that the shots wouldn't hurt him and praise the Lord they didn't! Praise the Lord that Matt and I have a healthy baby boy!
*Michelle and Stephanie... how about some pictures of ya'lls cute babies!
