More pictures of Eli's week
This is what Eli does on the changing table. It's hard sometimes to change his diaper cause of it!
I just thought it was a funny picture.
We tried pears for the first time today. Not too sure what he thinks about it. He wasn't too interested.
Also, I'm just going to be posting on Fridays. I was spending a little too much time on here, so I'm just going to post then. "Anonymous" made a comment, so I thought I would let Dad know.

Sweet Sophie
Week 1: God's Knowledge
139:1 O Lord, you have searched me and known me! 2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. 3 You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. 4 Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.

Treasuring God's Truth in Your Hearts
Here is a little bit about it... Enjoy!
"Here's a list of fifty-two Bible passages to memorize—one for each week of the year. Memorization plants God’s truth in your heart, giving you nourishment for your soul, encouragement for your faith, and defense against temptation. As you get started, a few tips could help. First, make a plan. If you don’t make a commitment, it probably won’t happen. Second, a partner can keep you on track. Third, pray about it. And finally, try the following method: (1) on the first day, read the passage aloud ten times, then say it ten times without looking; (2) on the second day, repeat it ten times, looking only if you have to; (3) repeat the verse at least once daily for the rest of the week; and (4) use the same format each week, also repeating each previously memorized verse once daily." House Update
We are scheduled to close on our house on October 15. On the inside, the tile is laid, the cabinets are in, and all of the carpentry work is almost complete. On the outside, the guttering is on and the siding is complete. FYI...the garage door is supposed to be white and the front door is supposed to be solid. It won't be long now (Dad...we'll be out of your basement soon!). We are so thankful to God for Dad's generosity in allowing us to live in his basement! Thanks Dad (or should I say "annonymous)!

This was a picture soon after Eli woke up today.
Grandad and Grandma Kirkpatrick playing with Eli.
This was taken as soon as I went in to get Eli today after he woke up. He's so much fun when he wakes up. He's such a joy!
I was taking pictures of Eli on our bed. He matched it today. Shortly after this picture, he spit up all over it!

Sophie's 2 month check up
The doctor said she looked just "perfect" weighing in at 12 pounds and 22 inches long. She took her 4 injections like a champ and then slept almost all day. By the way Jan, this is a mohawk. I had to zoom in on Eli's to see that he had hair at all :)
This is Kaleb playing "night night" one of his favorite games.
