Week 13: God's Power

"all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing,
and he does according to his will among the host of heaven
and among the inhabitants of the earth;
and none can stay his hand

We(care group) recently saw the Nativity story, and i was astounded anew at the circumstances of Christ's birth. The King of Kings and Lord of Lords, All powerful God, came to earth and was born in a filthy barn with animals. Our babies were born into state of the art medical facilities and then taken home to beautifully decorated rooms and drawers full of clothing. Jesus' humble birth was all God's plan... The Christmas carol, What child is this asks...Why lies he in such mean estate, where ox and ass are feeding... The answer is because God is powerful and it was HIS plan.
Michelle, you need to see the movie. Jan, tommy and I have seen it... :)

Thank you Pops and "Asher" for babysitting so I could go to see it!
