HELP! Maybe Trillia can help me...

OK... Matt loves Sweet Potato French Fries! Every time I make them, they stick to the bottom of the pan. I spray the pan, but I don't know what to do. Also, I would like them a little more crispy. They are kind soft. Maybe that's the way they are, but I need some help if anybody has any thoughts.

Trillia... I know your healthy and love to cook, so I thought you might know what I can do :)

What are sweet potatoes!!! Just kidding! Do you have to spray the bottom of the pan? I know with regular french fries you aren't supposed to grease the pan. I'd fry those babies in oil and see what happens!!

mmmmmmmm...We deep fry them here at the sluss house bc i don't make them that often. Plus we want to clog our arteries.... I like how they rise up, too. Doesn't this make you guys think of wednesday night dinner at nanny and poppy's? That is how i learned to make french fries!

Hey jan! I make these almost every other day. I love them! Well,..i usually cute them into cubes so they won;t have to bake as long. My fav afternoon snack. I toss them in olive oil and salt and pepper then bake ( cubed size) at 425 for about 20-25 minutes. They usually are crispy on the outside. If doing fries i'd broil them for 2 or three minutes. How long do you bake your fries???
