Well, yesterday Eli and I had a big day. I had a GI doctors appointment at 1:35pm. They think I have an ulcer, so I get to have a EGD and a Sigmoidoscopy. While we were waiting to see the doctor an older lady asked me twice how old Eli was and were I lived. And then something happened that I have never seen before.... she walked over and tried to take Eli and she picked him up and went crazy cause he was so heavy and then she put him down (thank goodness) and cupped her hands around her mouth and took out her teeth and was chopping them together to make a noise!!! This isn't a joke! She kept doing it and doing it. I was about to lose my mind. She would hit me in my arm, like check this out, hahaha! Then as we were leaving we got on the elevator and went down to the lobby and the doors barely opened. YES, we were stuck in the elevator. They shut and it went back up. It opened on 3 and more people got on (wasn't excited about that). We went back down and it did the same thing. They started freaking out. I just wanted off, cause their were 9 of us on there. So, we went to the first floor and some nice lady carried my stroller down the stairs while I carried Eli. Fun times in Oak Ridge."Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward." Psalm 127:3

Doctor's appointments, false teeth, & elevators.

UT Vet Open House
I'm afraid that my kids love animals...I'm not so sure I can say the same thing about Kubby!
Fun with an Umbrella
Pop's work, new playground, random shots of Eli, and Grandma and Grandad's
Sophie and Kaleb were playing peek-a-boo with Eli.
Looks like Eli is about to pull that out of Sophie's mouth!
We went last Saturday to Dad's house, cause Matt went to the races in Bristol. Dad bought some new playground equipment and it come a bunch a little pieces. It was so nice out, so we just sat in the grass and let Eli play.
Eli is waving hi to Dad.
My sweet little baby, who's almost one!
Here is all the pieces. I'll post a picture when they all get put together.

Eli's been taking steps everyday now for the past week. Before long he will be walking! I'm excited cause my boy is heavy!!! He weighs in at 22lbs 5 oz.
He won't leave his hat on, so I snapped a quick picture.

We had a house showing (we put our house on the market again about a month or so ago, please pray that it would sell! Thanks!) so we went to visit uncle Tommy and aunt Jennifer. Eli had a blast.
I was joking with Jennifer that Eli was half her height.Aunt Jennifer (Matt's sister) came in last weekend for a short time, so we went to see her. She just got back from skiing in Salt Lake City, Utah and she bought Eli a shirt that says, "Future ski dude." It is super cute!

There he is standing again. I don't know what he is doing with his arms, but he always does it.
There he is with Grandad and Grandma.Monday, March 26, 2007
God's Unchangability: Week 17
and the heavens are the work of your hands.
They will perish, but you will remain;
they will all wear out like a garment.
You will change them like a robe, and they will pass away,
but you are the same, and your years have no end."

When Clifton is away , we sure play!

When clifton goes out of town, I have to do some "rough-housing"! Here is Kubby flying high in the sky, like super grover. I count down..10,9,8.... and then pause for one and he always says proudly, "4!" I have no idea why. Also, please note my fancy nails...pretty nice huh?

Here is sophie getting in on the action! She likes it, too. Normally, Kaleb is supposed to be gentle with mommy, but i make an exception on weeks like this! CAUTION: do not make fun of my toes. I have programmed blogger to cause any computers to crash if this occurs. So, don't even think about it, michelle :) he he he

Snotty breakfast and cheering me on!

Today I was cleaning our bedroom ( a never ending saga) and Kaleb sat on our chest and clapped for me. "yeah, mommy working" Every few minutes he would stop what he was doing and clap for me. The gift of encouragement? Could be. Last night I went out to do a little household shopping and Kaleb stayed awake until I got home. It was almost 9:30! I went in to check on him and he said, "mommy rock kubby" I rocked him a few minutes he gave me a kiss and then went off to sleep. He was waiting on me to get back!

Sophie's snot continues, with no end in sight. Today, a cheerio got stuck in the muck! She recently got her two top teeth and is working on some others. She does this strange back of the hand maneuver and enjoys it when we clap at her. Who doesn't? She has also really chubbed up! "No fear" is what characterizes Sophie. She dives under the water in the bathtub and will pull up on anything. She will definitely cry if the endeavor does not go her way, but she tries it nonetheless! She's wild! Ask anyone who has tried to hold her! Always on the move...
